Gas Safety Certificate
Gas appliances and flues must undergo an annual safety check by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Electrical Safety (EICR)
Electrical installations must be inspected and tested by a qualified person at least every five years, with the appropriate report provided to tenants.
Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
An EPC must be provided when letting a property, subject to the applicable requirements and exemptions.
Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Applicable rented properties must have smoke alarms on each storey used as living accommodation and carbon monoxide alarms in rooms containing a fixed combustion appliance, excluding gas cookers.
